When I moved here in 2005, the management was great and took the time to make sure problems were dealt with efficiently. Since May, the new management has been rude, unable to answer requests, and does not care about the residents. I have horrible neighbors in building 7 that have 8 people living in a 2 bedroom apartment that constantly run around and yell, no matter the hour. There have been numerous complaints on them, but nothing has been done. You have to call campus security instead of the police for noise complaints, so all they get is a slap on the wrist and the whole scenario is repeated the following night. The pool has been non-functional since the new management arrived. The wooden deck around the pool is rotting away and nails are coming loose. A tree broke over the walkway around the pool during the icestorm in January and it was never moved out of the pathway. It is April and the branches are still in the pool area. For the most part, the ice machine has not worked either. Maintenance is good about fixing problems in my apartment in a timely manner, they are cool. But all the staff in the office are incompetent college students that should not be running this apartment.
