Ive lived here for 3 years and have never had problems what so ever...if you are a good resident you do not have any problems. to the IRISHROSE... why are u complaining soo much... u have lived here for a long time and seem to be soo grumpy about ur situation y live here'' u made a long ol' list of all these "great places" then goo... quit trying to make country oaks look bad cuz these are not bad apartments at all... i, personally would rather pay more for rent than less because you get what you pay for. i sure hope i dont live next to you... i have no problems in my building the office staff is very friends and since the IRISHROSE just cant stand the manager i have to say... i have never had any problems with her.. she is sweet, very personable and always answers any questions maybe u just dont like her b.c she is living adjacent to you and you cant have any loud and crazy parties.... personally i always see the office staff on property even after hours so i know they must all live here and i really like that because it makes me feel safe and lets me know they dont think they are too good to live here. because it is such a wonderful place and obviously they are just working for a paycheck and going home to some HUGE HOUSE in the hills...everytime i see any of them they are all very nice. so get over yourself IRISH HORSE... im mean ROSE...if u hate it MOVE!! PLEASE

I am almost 100% positive this was written by the manager of Country Oaks.

I certify that I am Irishrose and a good tenant who always pays their rent on time and have for the 9 plus years that I have lived here. I am a 52 year old woman and I do not have loud parties.
The reason the manager does not like me as a tenant is because I exercise my first amendment of freedom of speech. I have protested about the management practices of how good tenants are unfairly treated.
I have every right to do so, and will continue to as long as management abuses its authority and power and uses their so called rules to try to get rid of tenants the manager does not like. This is discrimination.
My rent has gone up three times in less than one year. I think you would feel differently if your rent has increased $95 in less than one year.
Furthermore, I was told by a previous employee, staff member of Country Oaks that the manager is deliberately trying to get rid of me and by two other tenants. The reason I was told this is because they too thought the manager was being unfair to me as a tenant because I am a good tenant and do not bother any of the other tenants.
This is nothing more than a personal vandeta against me by the manager because I have complained of the way I have been treated. This is the reason why the manager has decided to retaliate against me and has tried to evict me on several occasions, unsuccessfully I might add???Because she has no legitimate reason. The reason she has been unsuccessful is because I am a good tenant. Since she has been unable to evict me for no good reason she can find, (believe me she has tried), she is now trying to force me out by increasing my rent.
You are not in my shoes and you have no idea what abuses of retaliation I have suffered at the hands of the manager of Country Oaks.

Irish rose isn't complaining. She is rating as this is a rating site. It is not a forum open for discussion, so there is no reason for you to defend any accusations. I am happy that you haven't been treated like crap as the majority of us have been. But I suspect that part of the reason you haven't had any problems with the manager is because she hasn't had any problems with you. Maybe you haven't noticed the inconsistencies in water billing, or the water leaks we have twice a month or how the manager "arranges" for us to have to drive to New Braunfels to take a shower for $5 bucks while the water is shut off for over three and a half days. You are precisely the kind of people who should move into these apartments. Enjoy your stay.

You said that Country Oaks is a great place to live....Well i guess you dont have any kids, because i was never happy since sherman became as a part of the staff that was just more easy for him to do his BUSINESS and im pretty sure "the managers" knew about it but they never did anything about it.
