I lived there 2 years ago when I first transferred to Texas State. I didn't know any better. I just thought the price was great. When I came to check out the apartments, the mananger told me that I would get new cabinets and new countertops. The model apt she showed me was awesome! I loved the island in the kitchen. However, when I moved in, i found that the cabinets were not new, just horribly painted. it was white on the outside and dirty ass brown in the inside and it was all unevenly painted. The countertops were not new at all. there were stains everywhere. The drawers were hard to open. My dishwasher fell out of its place a couple of times b/c it wasn't the right size for the space. The washer and dryer sounded like it was about to take off into space. and i have to agree with all the other reviews on management. IT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember when i came in to sign the lease, the manager was bitching about someone calling in asking about postal service. She made some rude comments after hanging up the phone. great price and location, just terrible management. i too, feel bad for the maintenance folks. they're super nice!
