I lived here for 6 months and it was okay. I liked the fact that I had a W/D in the apartment but when I wanted to take a bath there was never hot water so I had to boil a bunch of water just to get my bath warm. My stove/oven kept shutting off so I'd have to flip the main switches a lot. That was annoying. We had a "rocking" toilet and got that fixed immediately. Apparently the wood and stuff holding the toilet up was bad. 90% of the time the nights were horrendous. We had noisy people who partied it up on their balcony below our's all the time. The fire alarm was always pulled and it made the fire dept. come out for nothing!!!! Rather sad and pissed a lot of people off. Most of the staff was friendly and the maintenance people were nice. I love San Marcos and plan on moving there again some day but would never rent from Hill Country again...
