fight for your deposit

After 3.5 years living at Hillside Ranch, I was treated with the littlest respect as an abiding tenant and had to fight for 5 months after my moveout date to recover the full deposit for my rent because they tried to tell me i owed back rent. The nerve of these people and their owners in San Antonio. Only attorneys showing my records of agreed dues monthly signed by management and myself finally yielded me my full deposit which I was told during my move-out that I would receive. Management has been the worst and the only choice to get anything done there, like quiet down neighbors at 4am, is to contact San Marcos police. The owning company in San Antonio is just as bad as the acting office management who has been notorious for fraudulant activity over the last year. Since the opening of their newer more luxurious property, management could really care less about the residents of Hillside Ranch and operating a legitimate business with any ethics and standards. Renters beware of what you are getting into.
