For your own safety and well-being, I strongly advise that you do NOT live at Polo Club. It ruined my first apartment experience. While the management seemed to have little or sometimes no concern for major health issues, I personally paid for maintenance out of my own pocket. It was not worth it. There were RATS (not mice...RATS) in my apartment. I am a neat freak and somehow I still had rats in my apartment. Opening my pantry, I saw a rat run across my shelf before my eyes. I called management, and they did not consider it a major issue and neglected to take care of the infestation for 4 days. I could not sleep for those days once I saw 2 of them walking around my kitchen! My roommate paid for 5 rat traps by ourselves. Not to mention that when we moved in (1 week after we were told it was going to be ready) there was graffiti on the walls, dirty panties in the closets, solid dog hair along the baseboards, and handcuffs on the counter. The apartment was in no way ready for new residents. The manager lectured us on how this was the real world and you have to take care of things yourself sometime! We, unfortunately, were naive and assumed...we had to fix the problems ourselves...which we did. We cleaned the entire apartment and repainted the walls for the first week we moved into the residence. It was miserable. I still have nightmares about the place! That management is just a lawsuit waiting to happen. I heard she deals with a lot actually. That certainly says something.
