From the time I inquired about the apartment to my move in date, I was impressed with how speedy the whole process was. However, on the date of my move in, the owner (Pat) was still replacing a couple fixtures in the apartment. Upon noticing that I was being meticulous about noting any problems on my move in sheet, Pat was very curt and sarcastic about me being ---- and saying, oh ----, weve got a lawyer in here. I ignored his comments and continued to check off problems I noticed (which werent very many). A few days after moving in I noticed that a pool of water was forming around the edges of the refrigerator and I promptly notified management. Every encounter that followed for the next 3 weeks was an attempt to appease me with good news about how the part should be here tomorrow and well get it replaced A.S.A.P. when still to this date Ive yet to have it fixed. Ive just given up and left the valve behind the refrigerator turned off. I can live without an ice-maker. The parking is great for compact cars but the majority of spaces in the back lot are extremely narrow and a pain in the arse for full size vehicles. Fortunately, I havent had any other problems but after experiencing a simple problem that still hasnt been addressed, I worry that should anything ever go terribly wrong, Im going to be a very unsatisfied tenant. My only other complaint thus far, is the requisite of wearing slippers around the apartment to avoid filthy black feet. I havent even addressed the matter as to avoid frustration of moving everything off the carpet and then being stood up by the cleaning service. Some things are better left untouched. One last note Id like to leave While Pat is very brash and immature, Shayla (the manager) has been very nice and courteous however incompetent she may be.
