I'm sure a cerebral stud such as yourself could come up with something a bit more dazzling. I've read a few of the nasty dramatizations about this complex and have considered Oscar nominations for a few. But why take personal responsibility for losing some of a deposit when it's just too convenient to scapegoat somebody else' I've lived in this complex since January of this year. Out of the 5 places I've lived in since my college career began, I prefer this place the most.

For starters, there is always somewhere to park. I lived at the Outpost a couple of years ago, and sometimes I'd have to park on the other side of the complex and hike back to my building and up a flight of stairs.

It's also quiet here. It's important that straight-A senior get some sleep at least every other night. Sure, there were occasions in which a neighbor would be generous enough to share his music with me at 4 in the morning. I'd usually just pound on the door, share a few of my feelings on his music, and get back to sleep. Problem solved.

I also order packages from bodybuilding.com almost every week. Postal workers typically just leave the box at my front door, perhaps thinking it will fend for itself while I'm away at work. Patrick is always nice enough to drop it off in the office with a number I can call after office hours end.

The grounds are also kept clean. A lot of the people who live here are not college students, therefore there's not much partying to worry about. Every time I get off work, I see one of the groundskeepers cleaning the pool, maintaining the laundry facilities, or just keeping the grounds tidy.

What really boggles the mind is how many of the reviews here are simply a tirade of insults, written with the eloquence of a toddler, and aimed at the new manager, Jennifer. Let me tell you about Jennifer; Jennifer is the reason I'm not currently sleeping in a cardboard box. My new roomy is on a bit of a budget, so I'm having to downgrade. Jennifer and I had decided quite a bit earlier that the 13th would be my move out date. Little did I know that Texas State overbooked dorm lodging by 700 students this year. It's sufficed to say that apartments were scarce. When I finally found lodging that agreed on the 13th, I made sure to get that in writing. Low and behold, the next day, they'd changed the date to the 15th. My stomach acid just churned while I negotiated over the phone to push it back to the 13th again. They wouldn't budge and couldn't care less what they'd put on paper. If it weren't for Jennifer's diplomacy, I would have had to move 2 times in 3 days. She explained the situation to the tenant who will be taking my room, who agreed to move in later than originally scheduled. There aren't too many managers who would go out of their way to help out someone whose lease is expiring. So as for being to busy or just not caring about tenants' Feel free not to waste time reading any of those bogus reviews.

I have to try to be unbiased, though; there's a bit of a bump at the parking lot entrance. But we can't all be perfect, now can we'
