A great many perks, just a few complaints but overall, a great choice to live in when looking in San Marcos.
Few Down Points-
-Our carpet had stains like none I had ever seen before in my life. We wrote them down in our move-in papers and covered them up with big pieces of furniture.
-The free wireless was unpredictable so we opted to pay extra for high speed.
-The sound insulation from our ceiling was poor. We could easily hear the people above us walking around in their apartment.
Bragging Rights
-Management was great. Very polite and quick to act when we had any problems.
-Maintenance was incredibly fast. Most of the time, the servicemen were at our door within an hour or two of our complaints. They were always polite and got the job done.
-I never never had a problem with parking. All non residents and non guests are required to park pretty far away from the buildings so even on busy traffic nights (Thursday nights are supposedly San Marcos party nights) I could still park right beside my complex. I can't say how much trouble it was to park after 11:30 at night because that was rarely the case for me.
-No water bill, our electricity was lower than any other belonging to friends living in other apartments. I got to BRAG to my friends about my electricity bill. How ridiculous is that'
-Minimal noise which was surprising due to this is a college town complex. We specifically asked for peace and quiet up front. Maybe that had something to do with it.
-Ours came with a wonderful washer/dryer that we fell in love with since none of us had ever experienced that luxury before. This is the first time we??ve found a complex where The Deal Was Low Enough that we could afford it.
-3 bedrooms 3 baths washer/dryer. Each of us were paying 290/month. I'm moving to another city where I can't find ANYTHING close to what I'm used to now and it really sucks. That??s how I came across this review page. I??m shocked at all of the negative reviews. When reading those, it??s the first time I??ve heard of an assault on the complex grounds so I??m not sure if it??s true.
Once again, my friends were Jealous of the perks that we were getting at Post Road. They lived at ones such as Treehouse Apartments (price and maintenance), Les Chateaux Apartments (price and maintenance), The Exchange (price and management), Bobcat Village (price), and Village on the River (price and the fact that they don??t offer 3 bedroom apts.).

The 3 bedrooms are nice, but the 2/1's are ridiculously small for 2 people--glad you had a good experience. I hated it there--too noisy in the area I lived and too small!
