Don't even consider it!

I only lived at Post Road Place for about six months, but I hated every minute of it. When my roommate and I first moved in there were huge maintenance issues already. The bottom of our tub cracked within the first week, and our refrigerator looked like it had been torn apart. Our ice tray was chipped and cracked and the chiller in the bottom of the fridge was so damaged we could barely pull it out.
The carpets in our apartment were new, but only because the previous tenant had apparently ruined them so badly that the management was left with no option. Nice.
My roommate and I both liked the size and layout of our bedrooms/closets, and the living room and dining room were an acceptable size, but the kitchen was ridiculously tiny, with virtually NO counter space. The bathroom was also tiny, and had a stupid layout where the vanity was on the outside, so if you shut yourself in the toilet/bathtub area you felt like you were in a coffin.
The dryer in our combo unit never dried clothes. When I filled out our move in condition form I noted that it looked like the lint drawer had never been changed. I spoke with management about the issue and they promised us a new dryer, which never appeared. And please, don't get me started on the 'free high speed wireless'. Dial-up was faster, seriously. Again, I spoke with management numerous times about this issue and they never even offered a solution, just shrugged their shoulders.
While I'm on the subject of the management: They were unprofessional, always smoking outside of the office, and around 3 months before I moved out they started letting their dogs come to work with them. It started with one dog, and then there were two, and soon there was another puppy. Two of the dogs were vicious, always growling at my fiance as we walked to my apartment.
As for their fitness center, it was a complete joke. All of the machines were damaged, all but one so badly that it wouldn't even operate. The hot tub and pool were also a joke. They were both so small that I wouldn't even really want to get in them with close friends, and for the entire time I lived there (this included the summer months) they were dirty to the point of being unusable.
Maintenance was never actually able to fix anything, and parking was a nightmare. It seemed like every other day management was adding more reserved spaces to keep the friggin' paying residents from being able to park in front of their apartments. Also, each resident only gets one visitor pass, and since one of my roommate's friends lost one of ours, they charged us $30. FOR A VISITOR PARKING PASS!!
The icing on the cake' The day before we moved out our air conditioner (which had been struggling all summer long) finally bit the dust, and we had to move out in sweltering heat at the end of July.
I have since moved next door and am paying half the price in rent. I am in heaven, believe me!
