Shady management, horrible maintenance staff, crooks! (read it all)

The neighborhood is a bit sketchy to begin with The neighbors are a mix of poor local families, students, and low lifes. My roomate had his car broken into while living here, and just down the street was a hostage situation in which 26 immigrant workers were held captive. Also, we had some boxes stolen out of the office while living there, and management could give a rats ass.

Maintenance is 3 lazy, fat, sloppy bums who almost never come to make repairs, and when they do, the job is so shoddy that everything breaks again that day, or shortly there after. For instance, one of the few times maintenance actually decided to come and do their job was when one of the ceiling fan blades broke off and went flying across the room. They came and fixed it all right. Which ever one of the three stooges that do maintenance there who came to fix the fan blade put it on upside down, and I suspect he only super glued it in, because it immediately flew off again.

Management are crooks who charged me for damages that were already there when I moved in, including some missing refrigerator shelves that were never even in there to begin with. They, like the maintenance men, are complete idiots. They don't even pretend to care about their jobs, let alone their tenants. They are some of the most irresponsible apartment management that I've come across to date.

The day after I moved into Post Roach Place and the touched up paint smell had settled, the living room/ kitchen area and the hallway immediately began smelling horribly like mildew. I quickly found out why. The tub leaked water onto the floor, which had old tile that was litterally curling up because of water damage. The two feet or less of tile in the restroom area give way to mildewy carpet. Yes, carpet in the bathroom, what moron does that' The washer also leaked water all over the floor (which, surprise, was also carpeted). The dishwasher also leaked, more like a flood than a leak. Along with the dishwasher, the dryer broke on its first use, and niether were repaired the entire time I lived there, even after many many maintenance reports. There were bug problems galore. Roaches, and ants, everywhere. I began sleeping with pieces of cotton in my ears for fear a roach might crawl in whle I was sleeping. Pest control did come once, and did take care of this problem, but they came back, and we never saw pest control again.

Post Roach Place is one of the wosrt places I have ever lived. Live here only if you are desperate for the cheapest price possible. Just remember, you get what you pay for. In my opinion, you are better off finding a large box to live in under a bridge. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
