Where should I start with this hellhole'
You might think this place is a good option to live with its great location in walking distance to school and the gorgeous view of all the girls at the park. That's what I thought when I moved here. It was no time before I realized that not only was my appartment bad, it was embarresing.
It isn't possible to make it look nice on the inside, because the walls are made out of concrete blocks. That means you can't hang anything up, and it gives it a cold, unfriendly feeling. If you can get past the prison like walls, just look down and see the stained 1970's brown shag carpeting that seems to shed every time you walk on it. There is just no way that you will ever impress anyone by living here.
Your kitchen appliences are very old and worn out. My dishes are never cleaned enough from the dishwasher, and doing them in the sink doesn't work because the garbage disposal breaks about once a month, and the plumbing is so bad that you will see your old slimy water bubble from the drain every now and then. I haven't had a satisfying shower in weeks. There is no pressure, and often literally no water coming out of the shower head. Maintainence will fix it, but it breaks again in a matter of days. I've been having to take a water pitcher in the shower with me and fill it up in the bottom part and pour it on me to get clean.
The apartments are absolutly infested with ants. Everywhere you turn there are ants. There are huge colonies in the wall, and the pest people can't do anything about it. The weight room, aside from being a run down place with over half of the equipment broke, has a racoon that finds his way into the celing panels. Now the gym has so many FLEAS living in there, you feel ten of them crawling and biting on you withing the first minute of your workout.
I could go on, but hopefully that is enough to convince you that you can do much better. Since this is a school owned apartment I expected much better maintainence and quality, but was very dissapointed. However because it is school owned, they can charge much more than they have a right to and they know people will pay. Rent is set to increase thirty dollars a month within a few months.
If you don't mind a crappy apartment, you can get one much cheaper, and for the money you pay here, you can get a very nice place, so just don't even think about this place.
