Not a bad place for college

I lived in Clear Springs while attending college. I have heard horror stories about the place, but never had any problems. The other tenants are wonderful and I immediately made friends when I moved in. It is an old complex, but for the amount of space you get, it's a deal. There are only concrete walls in the downstairs - which can add a bit of character. One of my friends who lived there made elaborate chalk drawings that they soaped off when it was time to move.
I lived on the 3rd floor so there weren't too many bugs to speak of.
The location was excellent.
I lived in Hill Country Apartments on N. LBJ (which are supposed to be incredibly nice), and enjoyed Clear Springs a lot more.
The only thing that sucks about it is that it is owned by the university - so they can hold your grades and registration if they feel like it.
