These are the most disgusting apartments I have ever seen, and I am horrified to say that I actually lived in these things. There were steroid sized ants that lived in my restroom, and I would see then crawling on my ceiling and floor. Not only did these huge ants infest my apartment, so did frieken HUGE roaches! They scared me to death. I've never seen roaches that big in my life, it was so disgusting and scary. I am an extremely clean person, so I couldn't understand why these things were lurking in my apartment, but I soon realized it was just the disgusting complex. I would call the office to complain and the pest man would spray the apartment, well, at least that's what I was told, I was never there when he came. But, they still kept coming back, I was scared to even go to sleep at night because I was afraid of the roaches. The complex is extremely ghetto and run down, I don't know how they even stay in business. The people that live there are weird, scary, and frieky looking, I was scared to walk at night alone to my car. This is a haven for weirdos and roaches, not for normal functioning people. The only reason I even moved there was because it was last minute and I needed a place to live right away. The rent may be a little cheaper compared to other apartments, but they should be paying people to live there. It's not worth it at all, I can't even say you get what you pay for, it's horrible. I think the place should be torn down and they should start all over. The parking lot becomes a frieken lake when it rains, so if you happen to park where it turns into a lake, good luck getting into your car, you'll have water up to your ankles. I had to take my shoes off to even get into my car or they would have been soaked, and then I was so afraid of the contamination that I might get from the filthy place, I went to my apartment to staralize my feet. There used to be some really creepy maint. guy that worked there, but he left I guess. The other maint. guy is really nice and helpful. And Allen in the front is nice, and willing to hear your complaints, he was helpful, but there's only so much he could do. I have always heard how awlful Perry the manager is, and I have to agree. One more thing, the apartments inside look horrible and run down. I was afraid to walk bare foot in my apartment. They are not taken care of at all and everything is broken inside, I just gave up asking the maint. guy to fix things, nothing would help. And beware of the disgusting filth that comes out of your shower drain, you have to wear flip flops to shower. And the outside complex is gross as well, I wouldn't dare step foot in the pool, I would fear for my life. Overall, these apartments are DISGUSTING, creepy, ghetto, unsafe,and if you live here, you will have a tramautic experience. Anyone in there right mind, would not live here. Just look at who does live there and you will understand. By the way, I looked up on the internet for sex offenders in San Marcos, and believe it or not, there is a guy who live in these apartments who is a sex offender, very scary. I would rather live in my car than live here.
