I lived in a 4 bedroom apt and the back two bedrooms would NEVER be cool in the summer or warm in the winter. There would be a 15-20 degree difference between my room and the hallway RIGHT OUTSIDE my room. After telling mgmt. about the problem they said that there was NOTHING they could/would do about it. Another note about the mgmt. is that they are not sincere with what they say and do. My roomates have had packages signed for in the front office then they were never received, after asking about the whereabouts of her delivery they said that "its not their responsiblity and they are doing us a favor" but the package was never found. When walking into the front office you have to stand there for a few minutes before the people at their desks (right infront of the door) would assist you. Maintinance calls would have to be called in at least twice before they would send some one to repair what was broken (this included overflowing toilets), if you plan to live here just hope that nothing important breaks. Nothing was paintd or cleaned when we first moved in and the apt smelled like there was a dog or a cat in the apt before us. The bathrooms were covered in mildew and the tiles had black stains in each crack -- this apt had not been properly prepared for new residents. None of our smoke detectors have EVER worked and did not have batteries when we moved in -- and maintinance has just recently pulled off one of the detectors out of one of the hallways and have yet to fix it.
University Springs is OK to live at if you are tolerant of difficult management.
