I moved here right out of Jackson Hall and had this ideal apartment in mind (for $350 a month - haha RIGHT!) and was SO DISAPPOINTED!

but i was also 19 and had never lived in an apartment before. i had this like Friends style image but yes, University Springs is a very college apartment. It has some crappy stuff going on, but the living rooms are huge, everything is included in your bill (even electric) and for our 4 bedroom/2 bathroom we paid $350 each. that is freaking cheap.

they have wood looking floors, which i dont enjoy becuase they are always dirty and need sweeping.

when we moved in there were problems galore aka nothing worked and EVERYTHING was dirty and nasty. we went in btching, and they of course hated us. i think if we were nicer we would have gotten more done.

the maintenance was poor. the management a little sketch (people kept disappearing and there were like 3 new managers while i was there, for a year). the gym was always broken. the hot tub was germy. there were loud parties. but you can walk to the shell station which has a decent selection of beer, cigars, ice cream, and an atm, and you can walk to a liquor store! HEYO! also... los cucos $2 ritas were about 5 steps away.

but if you are a college student and you want to have parties, there are never cops, which is nice. all in all, it was a little sketch/crappy, but it was cheap as hell and we had a good time.

i would NOT live here if you are over the age of 21. you would hate it.
this is a very party/college atmosphere. i mean the apt staff would throw their own parties at the pool, and the maintenance guy offered to buy us a keg once (but we are pretty hot, so ya know - jk).

you get what you pay for.

ps there is no deposit, so any damages you make you pay for in cold hard cash. and that is a slap in the face come august.
