Okay, let's face it. We all live here because it's close to campus. It's not for the service and not for the management. It's for the convenience of it! that's the simple truth.
The Timbers has had a bad rap for 4 years now but we all keep living here. So let's quit crying... I've been through 4 Managers and 5 maintenance men and none of them have worth a fart in the wind.
The place is old and has had some lipstick put on it but it is what it is ... close to school. The staff is in its own world and that's okay because we get to be a little free.
Yes, we do need better response time with maintenance and feel like someone cares because are parents aren't here, but our manager is our age so what do we expect from her... she's in the real world and we're in the school world, she's loud but oh well give us all a few years and maybe we will all handle ourselves differently.
Maintenance request... I know mine are in writing and have been for four years and its always been the same... I didn't get the call.. Okay what call... I put it in writing...Oh we must have lost it...Oh I gave it to the maintenance guy...he will be there today...2 days later nothing!!
Yes, its all frustrating... BUT I"M CLOSE TO CAMPUS!
The good news is I can have a beer at the hot tub at 2am and no cares around here!
See you at the hot tub and bring your own beer!
FYI...keep everything in writing, even your work orders, because somethings you'll just learn to live with but you'll need the evidence for when you moveout...I hear they STICK IT TO YOU! Take pictures of any damage and keep your file updated for your move-out... I have a novel on this place...and it ain't too pretty!
