I have only lived here for 1 year, and I am not renewing my lease. It is NOT b/c of bad management or maintenance, but simply b/c the rent is going up. The manager is really nice-she knows everyones name and is always friendly (but she talks really loud!). There are only 2 maintenance guys, which means they are overworked b/c the complex is so big. The head maintenance guy is outstanding, and he works REALLY hard. Talk to him when you get the chance. Very cool guy! The assistant maintenance guy also helps out as much as he can, but he is a student and doesnt live on the property. The residents here tend to -----, although its probably the best maintenance in San Marcos as far as timeliness. Parties here are loud and frequent-good or bad depending on lifestyle. Residents are friendly though. Pool could use a more frequent cleaning but the view at the pool is awesome. The only problem I really ever had is with the complex are the stupidly placed speed bumps throughout the parking lot. Why is there one at the gate entrance' For an older complex, the experience has been relatively pleasant. Also very animal friendly! I would recommend this complex to anyone who can afford it!
