Great apartment complex

This was my first apartment ever, and expecting things to be the worst considering it's a "student apartment", I was actually quite surprised at how good things were.
On the exterior the complexes are nice and spacious, there are only 4 complexes per unit building, so you don't have the overcrowding issue going on. Plus the "Timbers" certainly lives up to its name, as there's plenty of trees and open areas, and if you're lucky enough you may see a deer while driving up to the complex. There's a good pool (hot girl students always around) and a fitness center that I liked to use. Strangely it was hardly every occupied, but then again I work out in the late evenings. I saw a volleyball but I never used that part. The washer/dryer were ample enough to cater to all the residents, and I never had problems with finding an empty one to use, although again it could be because I do it in the later parts of the evening.
The apartments are only a block away from Texas State University too. The complex is gated and the parking lot is constantly monitored for students who don't have the proper apartment sticker on their car, so there's always plenty of parking in case you're worried of the non-apartment resident TxState students stealing them.
Management, at least in my case, was outstanding. But then again I treat people courtesly and professionally, and if you go into their office with a nice manner then you'll be treated nicely. Any repairs, such as a faucet in my kitchen, was done by that very afternoon while I was at work. They even received my laptop that I had ordered from Dell, called me about it, and even stayed a few minutes open past their closing time for me to come pick it up. That's great service. Management even takes care of the sensitive issues, such as again with the parking, or the dog poop from the pets. I guess I was a model renter to them because when I was offered another job in my career elsewhere and I had to move to another city, the manager said she really felt sorry for me having to move.
As far as the apartments themselves, they were very nice enough for their price. They're not new, and they're not the Plaza, but they certainly are far from being anything ghetto related. I received 925 sq ft, which I greatly liked. I found I received a good apartment for my price, nice 2bd 2bth feature, with a fireplace too, and my was conveniently next to the foresty part of the backlot of the apartments, so I was lucky enough to always have my bedroom and my office windows facing some great greenery. The neighbors were also very kind and good neighbors to have. Strange considering there's this stereotype that all college students are roudy drunks who play their music too loud, but you could've fooled me because the other three units that were around me, who all housed students, were the perfect neighbors. Maybe I was extremely lucky or something.
Anyways great apartment to live in. Highly recommended.
