This place is awful. I have lived here almost a year. It looks great, but polish a terd and it s still a terd.

After 2 months both towel racks broke, it has been 8 months. They fixed it once, but the maintenance guys drilled the damn thing into my hide-away door. So, to get into my bedroom I had to rip the damn things out. That was 5 months ago and they ve yet to try to fix it a second time.
We ve had several power outages because of sh*tty upgrades. We finally had to learn how to go outside and trip the main-breaker ourselves. Also due to the upgrades, they turned the water off one day (a Friday) to install appliances and never thought to turn it back on. We called the emergency maintenance line and they told us it was not an emergency and they would get to it on Monday. (they won't come in unless their property is in danger of being messed up, no matter how bad it will make your living situation). We had to call and tell them there was a leaky sprinkler before they came in.
We've had rats, and roaches, spiders, and ants. They've stolen electricity from us, lied to us about it, and have yet to reimburse us for it. We've seen neighbors apartments get flooded multiple times due to a busted water heater which they didn't replace until the 5th flood (and you can imagine the smell due to the mold).
They randomly start construction at 8 in the morning without warning. The pool is often dirty, and the hot-tub frequently smells like dead fish.

The only Cable/Phone/Internet service you can get is Time Warner and they suck! Our Cable Box has gone out 3 times, our TV is always pixilated if channels even come in. And if you have a problem you have to wait on hold forever (i've been on hold for 40 minutes).

We've still got a few months, so there's no telling what other things we're in for.

UPDATE: Today we found a 9 inch Centipede(the bitting kind)in the apartment (this is the latest in a long parade of bugs in our apartment). We asked the complex if they could spray or something... They said there's nothing they can do.

All in all, it's way too expensive for the crap you have to put up with. It's close to campus, and looks nice, but don't get taken in by them. This place is a nightmare.

No, it is definitely as bad as it sounds. All of that happens. It sucks.
