Although the price has increased since I have moved in, I got my money's worth.

After visiting this site and touring the rooms, I instantly stopped my search. I moved into a one bedroom apartment and have plenty of space: living area, bedroom, bathroom and small kitchen complete with appliances. Storage is easy with kitchen/bathroom cabinets, spacious closet, utility closet and a built-in bookshelf. The apartments have been newly renovated with wood-like linoleum and the upper floors (like mine) have new carpeting in the living room and bedroom. Balcony (or porch if you live on bottom level)included with small storage closet outside.I will admit, the balcony was a highlight for me!

Access to Keyed-entry laundry room and grill side pool included.

The location works since you are close to: Texas State (literally across the street), a gas station, two bars, a couple of popular restaurants, the river and town. The area is tucked into a hill and remains pretty quiet. Everything is pretty much minutes away and I enjoy being able to walk straight to campus.

Very safe area as well. I have no trouble walking alone at anytime of day or night. Outdoor grounds are fresh, nicely painted and well kept.

Treehouse apartments offer welcoming space and I have not had many problems since I moved here.

I have put in a single maintenance request when my dishwasher leaked due to what I later found to be me using weird soap. Maintenance here are quite friendly and don't mind you asking questions or being nosy!

I have heard about problems with the staff before when I read reviews but there is new staff and they are perfectly friendly and will work hard to please you.
The new manager (although I have never met the old one)is just an awesome person. She is particularly nice and I enjoy visiting the office just to talk with her. Although friendly, she also holds the logical mindset needed to properly run business. Go to her and she will answer your needs pleasantly and appropriately. I believe the people who have problems at this complex simply do not communicate with the staff, for if you do they will do all they can to work with you.


Initially, I was searching for a cheaper apartment close to campus yet I found that with price comes quality. Rates are competitive and ranges are pretty much set for any apartment that is so close to campus; Treehouse is pretty inexpensive compared to neighboring apartment complexes.

This space is great for living and the area is quiet enough for study. Everyone is friendly... It's just beautiful and convenient rolled up into one. Highly inviting atmosphere!

My friends all like my space, and I know one other guy who lives here and likes it. As for me, I'm not planning on moving anytime soon. I'd recommend it with ease.
