i was initially very pleased with my one-bedroom apartment at village green. it's a fairly spacious floor plan with a large walk-in closet and a huge balcony. the maintenance and management have always been prompt in fixing anything that should go wrong with it.

the drawbacks to this place are:

-the train tracks are so close, my windows literally rattle each time they pass. the trains are loud and very bothersome, and pass several times throughout the day and night.

-my downstairs neighbor complains about my "walking too loudly." i don't walk differently than anyone else i know, yet i am told that it is quite the disturbance. this causes me to believe there is a problem with the structure of the building itself, maybe in the insulation between the first and second floor.

generally, i like these apartments, but these two problems are enough for me to not sign another lease once this one expires.
