I have a very close friend who lives in these apartments and it has been a nightmare experience. Though she has never paid her rent late, the management has posted eviction notices on her door 4 times. When confronted, they just say it was a mistake and to ignore it. On top of that, they post the notice on the outside of the door, which is illegal.

My friend also had a very scary recurring problem of her door being unlocked and wide open upon returning home from school. It happenned three times. She finally ended up changing the locks on her own and the problem stopped. Thus, it was highly likely that it was someone who works for the apartment complex itself that was going into her apartment while she was gone. No telling what they did in there.

Now that she's leaving the apartment, they misplaced her notice to vacate and are demanding she pay another $1800 (two months rent).

This is a horrible apartment complex with a grossly incompetent staff. It is amazing that they are still in business given how often the management screws up. I would never, ever, recommend anyone who I cared about to live here.

The exact same thing is happening to my roomates and I right now (notice to vacate occurence) I would highly recomment making a complaint against this company with the BBB. The site is https://odr.bbb.org/odrweb/public/GetStarted.aspx and it only takes a few minutes. It will be a huge help to anyone else who will have problems in the future. (we know they will) It only takes a few minutes and remember exactly how atrocious the management was.
