After the maintenance guy was lied to about his job description, his pay was cut and he was stuck into a mid-property apartment that was filthy upon move-in. The manager (M***) ended up with a much nicer apt in the back of the property - it had yard space - he has no kids or a wife. When the girls next door wouldn't stop partying all night under the maintenance guy's kids' window, he told 'em to shaddup - he got in trouble for it - they painted their porch purple the next day - he reported it, he was repremanded. He was later fired for "insubordination". What' Insubordinate to a guy who can't stay off his cell phone for 5 minutes to hear what his tenants or employees have to say' Insubordinate to a manager who never really gives a straight answer' Insubordinate to a guy who as this is written can't seem to keep that pool blue' Insubordinate to a 'manager' who NEVER interacts with his residents' I mean really. If you live at the Villas and you are reading this, you know. . .You know about the blank "off" look the manager is famous for when you try to talk to him. Is it too much caffeine, or mommy' Long story short - this maintenance guy spent his life savings betting on a good home and job for his 6 person family only to be screwed hard by the outgoing and then incoming management companies that could give a damn about people - all spokes-boyed by none other than the manager. Rental property is about lots of poor people making one or a few people rich - rich people who don't even care if your children are made homeless by a man who doesn't understand the meaning of teamwork. The management sucked before I arrived, it continued to be disfunctional while I was there, and now that I'm gone, I see that things under a certain manager have not changed. While I was there, it was about one maintenance guy who was expected to do everything (pool, a/c, make-ready,lights, trash,) and be on call every weekend for less than $12.00 an hour. The manager would take off days at a time and over weekends and leave the untrained staff to deal with whatever. Maybe the owner of the property will see the truth of it and hire a real manager.

I would highly recomment making a complaint against this company with the BBB. The site is https://odr.bbb.org/odrweb/public/GetStarted.aspx and it only takes a few minutes. It will be a huge help to anyone else who will have problems in the future. (we know they will) It only takes a few minutes and remember exactly how atrocious the management was.
