MOVE IN:
I began living at the Zone in 01/2002 soon after it had been bought over from the Fairfield (The Exchange). My frist negative encounter occured on my move in day. I arrived to find out that my room wasn't even ready. Items from the prior roomate were still in the room and nothing had been cleaned by the apartment. When I reported the situation to management they assured me that it would be taken care of in the next immediately. I moved in and it was 2 weeks before they stepped foot into my dirty room. So for 2 weeks I couldn't put anything away because they were suposed to paint. When they finally came to do a touch up paint job they painted my wall in random spots with exterioir paint SO IT WAS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT COLOR.

MY STAY:
While living there were many things that were dissapointing like the walls were super thin and you could hear everything everyone was saying through both intirior and extirior wall, the internet in and out of service for several months, and cracks began to form in my walls, and the pool had crack going out or service for several months. Also I can't count the number or managers who have come and gone since I have been here.

Move Out:
After move out I recieved a standard form which shows what I paid in rent, what I owe, and the deposit I made. When reviewing the sheet it showed I owed for not returned key (which was correct) and that I had $0 put down for a deposit (Which is WRONG). When I called to find out what went wrong and why it showed no deposit it was explained to me that on my lease papers it showed that I made a deposit and then someone crossed it out and wrote in a $0 and signed some sort of initials. Needless to say this has been a real inconvienence. I had a leasing agent working on this and I appreciate their help , but what kind of management or manager allows something like that to happen under their reign' I still have not recieved my deposit back.

My stay at the zone has been very dissapointing :(

WEll if you moved in under "FAirfield" and paid your deposit to "Fairfield" then whomever you signed the lease with either did notask you to read it before signing &initialing or YOU chose NOT to read it - anyway, that being said, when Fairfield accepted deposits from residents int he begining, they DID NOT turn those deposits over to NBC when they purchased the property, NBC should not have to give back deposits to people that NBC never recived them from in the first place! Fairfield is where you shuold have gone with concerns about your deposit. Also, the person that managed that place before NBC bought it was fired - now why do you think that was?
