Living at the Zone made me miss my crappy dorms. First of all, if anything breaks, don't count on it being fixed in less then two weeks. When my roommate's lease ended they moved some crazy girl in and didn't notify me until THAT DAY. The staff is a bunch of lying, greedy, jerks who 'fixed' my signed lease in order to avoid paying my deposit back. If you do go to talk to a member of the staff, avoid Zack and Kim. I would include the manager, Chantal, but she is always 'unavailable.'
If you find that you are being cheated out of money, I would advise filing a claim against them. They will lose and have to pay the damages. If 10% of the people who were cheated by the Zone did so, they would go bankrupt. The renter's are paying the staff's salary. And for what' To change management every two weeks and throw parties that ANNOY the residents' Not very professional in my opinion.
Avoid the misery and live in the Exchange, Outpost, University Club, or anywhere but the Zone.
