I have lived at the Zone for two years, and there has been some ups and downs. When we first moved in we thought it was great, but then we realized it wasn't as great as we thought. The zone maintenance and office has been through a lot over these two years, and I will say have not quite managed to get their stuff together yet. Everything is very unorganized and never gets done on time. It is a good priced place for what you get though. Just know that when moving here you will most likely have to deal with some ordeal though the office, and don't expect things to be handled respectfully or in a timely manner. All their decisions have to go through corporate, which we all know never really get there. Overall there is too much to describe what went on at the Zone, but I would say keep looking because I know of a lot of other places in San Marcos that would be easier to deal with and nicer to live in.
