Quite unforgiving

The apartments are often equipped with broken furniture. They are quite slow at fixing problems and never replace anything. The "security" gates are often broken allowing anyone to come and go as they please. Management is quite unforgiving if rent is even slightly late (even when it was a federal holiday in my case). Their staff is often under trained and ill equipped to assist tenants properly. Often you will here "its in your contract" but they are quite willing to over look their short comings on their end of the deal.

Over all its not that bad, but there are better places to live here in San Marcos. If you have the patience of a saint and the time to waste on making sure they fulfill their part of the contract, you'll probably like it here. But if you're a student with little time to deal with such issues... look elsewhere.
