Worst Apartment Experience in San Marcos

I think that the Zone is an utterly terrible place to live if you are actually going to college to get a degree and not party 24/7. The noise during the week and on the weekends is utterly terrible (and the Zone's sponsored pool parties add the the current resident's already booked partying schedule). Almost every weekend there is a party in my building which leads to drunken brawls in the front lawn where the dogs do all their business. Things are always so out of hand that I have the non-emergency police on speed dial (throwing coffee tables off of a balcony is utterly barbaric!). Besides the noise, the management is horrible and it seems oddly coincidental that 2 very positive reviews were written on the same day praising the management. My roommates and I had issues that the management needed to take care of, but our calls were often ignored until our parents had to step in. Also, the desk girls are some of the ditsiest girls ever...especially with maintenance requests. I have spent countless hours on the phone with the complex trying to get issues resolved and have lost much sleep with all the noise and can't wait for my lease to be up!
