Schertz is a great area, but you will pay a good deal more than this place is worth. Footage to price ratio is decent, considering the place is only a year old. I was among the first residents here, but we are moving because our price is going up. My main problem was the wiring -- the power goes out at the slightest hint of a breeze and whole rooms suddenly have no electricity. We solved this by fiddling with the breakers. The management here is in constant flux and concerns and complaints are routinely ignored. **SAFETY IS A CONCERN HERE.** Young folk claiming to sell mags have solicited us here and were later seen on local news being arrested for rapes, but the management has taken no visible steps to increase any form of security after numerous complaints. Pool is nice, fitness "room" (or closet, as I prefer) leaves much to be desired. Pests are a frequent problem as well. The place is clean, but don't be fooled -- that is only because it is brand new. Parking and garbage pick-up are also issues -- there is only one dumpster and it is across the street, too far to walk. And I swear they only empty it once a week -- every time I go there it is overflowing and infested with all kinds of life forms. Not Recommended.

As new owners as of 7-1-06 i hope we are doing a better job than the last company (montford). They were the worst! Our staff had tons of problems after the sale and it took 4 months to get things straightend out! We have courtesy officer who is a schertz police officer living on property anlong with other police officers as well. he responds to any after hour complaints in person! -marc m (owner)
