Great if you like neighbor noise

We all know that living in apartments you are going to hear neighbors more than you care about. However, the noise between the floors is horrible here and like the other poster said, it seems like they were in a hurry to get the buildings up that they forgot about insulation between the floors. Makes me shudder just thinking about what we put up with. If you complain about your neighbors noise, they promise to kick you out too unless you keep your mouth shut (real friendly huh').
The power goes out if the wind blows so make sure you have back up flashlights and possibly a battery powered fan.
They have 1.5 parking spots for each apartment. Granted that would work wonderfully if everyone only had one car, but there are probably 90% of the apartments that are muti-vehicle families.
Pool is nice and so is the workout 'room'. They are military friendly and offer good discounts.
Too many dogs in the apartments, esp large barking all-day type ones.
Legacy Oaks is nice on the outside but not worth it to live there.

The property was built my connelly/white, they are actually one of the better builders of apartment in SA! As new owners since 7-1-06 we will respond with lease violations to all REPEAT offenders of noise complaints- never will we be rude or insensitive to your needs! BTW no apartments or houses have insulation between floors. That is only in the walls for energy purposes. i agree with the dog comment but In SA the tenants love there pets...whats a landlord to do? I have to allow what the people want, but we do have a breed/weight restriction now- not sure what the past mgnt. co. did if anything!
