We have lived here for 3 years now and I can agree with every other review. This used to be a great place to live. The management was wonderful and all the amenities more than made up for the price. The surrounding area was wooded and serene. However, since the complex was sold to the new management company things have only gone from bad to worse. All of the amenities were taken away without notice. We've had 5 managers within the last year. They move in and out so fast I honestly can't tell you the name of the most recent one. Forget trying to get something fixed in your apartment. They'll bring a can of spray paint and that will be that. Our son's closet started to mold due to leakage from the upstairs unit's water air conditioner and white spray paint "fixed" it twice. It was a joke. After 3 years you would think they would know when our rent was due. Our lease states we have to pay on or before the 5th day of the month. So, you can imagine my surprise when on a SUNDAY, the 4th, I get a knock on the door which I promptly ignore. It was laundry day and I didn't want to answer. Two women with clipboards start unlocking my door. I jump up and quickly explain that my rent isn't due until the next day and I would pay it on my way to work in the morning. They think it's appropriate to ask me for a copy of my lease. Don't they have that'''' Stupid. After I called her several times the next day, Vicki finally apologized for the mistake. Also, they have torn down just about all of the wooded areas and are building more complexes. We're leaving next month. Thank goodness. It's definitely time to get out of Forest Cove.
