I am the new manager since 4 weeks ago.
I wanted to state that no employees have stolen any amenities as reported 12/16/04. The report from a resident on 12/13/04 is FALSE. I have never in 18 years of my career told a resident to take a cold bath. It helps if residents give the correct apartment number and information. Residents forget we take verbal work orders as a courtesy and that the lease says to put request in writing so there is no confusion. Turnover in staff in the apartment industry is nothing new, this is the nature of our business and those in the business are aware of that. The residents should focus on the fact that they do have a staff to assist them and not so much on the fact that it may be a new person.
Forest Cove is a nice community with comparable rates and amenities to others in the market. Market surveys are done a minimal of once a month to ensure that we stay competitive. Things change, ECONOMY impacts all businesses, residents need to be aware that they cannot have the same rate, etc., forever. DON'T BELIEVE ALL YOU READ AS YOU COULD BE READING A RESIDENTS POSTING THAT IS UPSET BECAUSE THEY RECEIVED A LEASE VIOLATION OR NOTICE TO VACATE FOR NONPAYMENT AND THEY FEEL THE NEED TO RETALITE ON THE STAFF FOR DOING THERE JOBS. Resident's that follow their contract typically never complain, its usually the ones that dont in most circumstances. Again dont believe what you read, come see for yourself!

Illiterate management is a sign and symptom of a poor quality property. Owners who have no respect for thier tenants will hire the cheapest and least literate from the labor pool to "deal with" thier customers- the paying tenants. No one should be surprised when it follows that thier is no money for services and amenities and maintenance after an illiterate manager is put in place.

Complete Bull! YES! Go and see for yourself!! IT's a dump! And as far as lease agreements, hmmm if the paperwork was dated correctly it may have held up! Too bad for you and your idiot staff we are not bound by our lease anymore! Funny, you guys dated the lease from May 2004 to June 2004! Oh well, glad your former management was just as incompitent as you! Now we have a complex we are happy to call home for the past 6 months!
