In response to the recent management's rebuttle, we were residents going on our 5th year at Forest Cove. Once the company known as MBS had been given the reigns to "our" home things went downhill very quickly. You may think that the majority of these comments may very well be those of upset residents that did NOT follow lease guidelines, but as a LONG time resident; the bulk of these are true. If you don't believe them, then go to the Seabrook Police Department and ask to see crime statistics from 2001 - present and you will be able to see clearly that things changed DRASTICALLY when MBS "came to the rescue". Our experiences included WRITTEN maintenance requests that went unanswered for over a year, unruly residents that the staff would simply turn a blind eye to, the removal of tanning beds, bikes, computers and excercise equipment. The pools were green about 40% of the time and the outside lights were often off (parking lot and office area). Our advice to you: Go to the Attorney General's website and look under "Renter's Rights". You will find information that will be helpful in getting you out of your lease with no legal retalliation from MBS. If they don't live up to what the State says they must do as land-lords, then you have every right to leave and you may even be entitled to a settlement as were we. Good luck if you still live there and beware to those that don not.
