Whiskerville Animal Sancutuary Report

We feel it is important to share with people the businessses in our community who either do nothing to help with the suffering of animals or, worse, contribute to the problem.

Typically these businesses want us to ride up on our white horses and whisk the helpless animals away. All at our own expense, of course. And since they usuallly don't bother to seek assistance until an animal is sick, injured or about to give birth, the expense is usually quite extensive.

These businesses seem to forget that we, the public, are their customers and it is our choice where we dine, shop, get gas, etc.

After reading this information, you can decide for yourself whether or not you will patronize these establishments. Personally, we recommend patronizing the establishments on our Good Business page instead.

Bethany is a Lilac Point Siamese, about 1 year old. Her babies were born January 3, 2005. She was abandoned at Forest Cove Apartments in Seabrook/Kemah..

According to a resident, the management of Forest Cove Apartments complex not only would not help in any way (even though we rescued five cats from them), but threatened residents with a $400 pet deposit if any of them helped this angel!

Does this sound like the kind of place you would want to live' We sure wouldn't. And based upon the comments posted at ApartmentRatings.com, this is par for the course!

One nice lady did take Bethany in for a short time on Christmas when it was freezing and snowing. Unfortunately we can't praise her by name because we don't want her to receive a bill for $400 from the apartment management.
