We have lived here for almost 2 years now and when we moved in, we also thought it was a steal, great grounds, plenty of parking and great neighbors. Ground keepers could be seen every day early in the morning and also in the evening when I came home, you would also see someone cleaning the pool every single day. This all went away several months ago. No longer will you see maintenence EVER, management has changed so many times, I lost track months ago. The water heater went out 2 floors above me so I came home to raining on my back patio FOR 4 DAYS.. Everything in my storage closet was destroyed and now the celing has caved in and the paint has all peeled up in the patio storage closet, I cant even open the door because the walls have swelled so much its jammed. Last time I got to look in there the was were solid black with mold, 4 requests now and nothing has been done. It also flooded my carpet and water stains all the way around my apartment 4 inches up the walls, they dont care. The tree that fell in the courtyard and layed there for 4 MONTHS, well it got taken care of, some residents went out and cut it up. The water got shut off for several days due to MBS not paying the bill, then 3 weeks ago we got ANOTHER note on our door from Seabrook city saying it will be shut off AGAIN in 48 hours if they dont receive payment, I immediatly called the 2 news stations that coverd the water shut off last time, it must have got taken care of because we still have water (I know this from the leaks under the sink) I have so far had to replace the plumbing under the bathroom sink, kitchen faucet, $18 flourecent light for the community walk way leading to my apartment and had to have the ice maker on my refigorator fixed myself because I was told "If you want it done any time soon you will have to do it" So I asked what any time soon meant and I was told "I cant say because right now we dont have ANY maintenance" Last week I was up late and saw something red falling out of the corner of my eye so I looked out onto the patio and saw coals falling, I walked out there and the patio above me was smouldering and had so far burned a dinner plate size hole through the 2x6 planked deck above me. I went upstairs and woke them up to put the fire out, its just that easy to loose everything. Today I was standing on my patio enjoying my morning coffee and something hit me on my shoulder, I looked down and there were MAGGOTS crawling all over my patio then plop, one falls into my coffee...... Yes my same new neighbors that tried to burn this place down apparently dont take out the garbage and have bags of maggot ridden trash piling up on the patio. WE ARE DONE!!!! We bought a house last week and move next week, these are the longest 2 weeks of our lives, not because we are excited but because we are scared of what possibly can happen next in this dump.
All I can say is DO YOUR HOMEWORK, if MBS owns it RUN, all of these people are not whiners, they cant all be wrong, do yourself a favor and listen to them.
