I have lived here over 6 years, and Forest Cove used to be one of the shining stars of the Seabrook area. New management stopped keeping up the place. Paint and look of the place is faded and cracked, the lights burn out and do not get replaced. The pool has been broken since July 4, 2005 and is often cloudy or sometimes GREEN.
Maintenance is overloaded (nice people - just too much going on to fix everything at once). So my maintance items are 2 months overdue.
Owner is from Louisiana and just received FEMA money, so those new residents are getting the priority of maintance tasks. Current residents are left in the bottom of the to-do items stack. General feel to the place is "run-down." Office staff changes often. Most of the staff is pleasant, though are unable to give straight answers because they don't know what is going on either. Most seem embarassed by the lack of money and long list of maintance items. DO NOT LIVE HERE. It's gone from good to bad to getting even worse.

Actually the office staff has officially won the new gold medal. They have had the same Manager for about Five months and she does the very best with what she is given. It is obvious that the staff truly cares. They are putting their heart and soul into this place. And I think they are doing a fantastic job. They have gotten rid of some undesirable people, The pools are actually clear. So Keep up the good job!

FYI, I am a FEMA resident. I haven't seen any of us receive priority. And FYI, the FEMA situation isn't as smooth as you may think. What pool is broken. They both had too many people in them last weekend so we went to the Seabrook pool. You might want to check the pool situation before you write. The Seabrook pool is nice though, so you can at least try there. They have a huge water slide. Why is it a problem if staff changes? Alot of comments are about that. I like the people I have met so far and they have all been the same. How often do they change? |
