I was a summer intern and lived at Forest Cove Apartment for the summer of 2008. Indeed the maintenance was a little bit slow, but given the fact that the apartment only had one maintenance guy, and he was well overworked. Forest Cove Apartment's management was recently switched to Greystar. Their initiavies to upgrade the apartment was very evident. In July, they hosted a breakfast/lunch event to get to know its residents' needs and complaints. And they responded it with a scheduled agenda.

Forest Cove Apartment is set back by few of the residents that were not carefully screened by the last mangement. The current management has taken action to evict those residents. Greystar has a strict screening process. In the month of August, they had a 30% acceptance rate. This shows their commitment to revive the apartment but not jepordize the quality at the same time.

Yes, I agree. Things are looking up here. Maintenance is taken care of in a timely fashion and the onsite manager is great. She's always friendly and helpful and eager to make sure things are done correctly. Improvements can be seen all around.

Agreed. This new management has turned this complex around. I moved in about 4 managers ago and during her reign of terror, nothing was fixed. She asked for a personal money order as a deposit. Which, I was happy to refuse. The new folks have kept up with their end of the bargain and make an honest effort to appease their tenants. I just renewed my lease because of them.
