From a REAL resident's point of view (not the management that keeps posting unrealistic "LOVE WHERE I STAY" remarks:
I actually live here, unfortunately, and got pulled in by the balloons and free rent. Ever heard of bait and switch' Big mistake on my part. I should have known better by how hard they were pushing me to rent here. This place is empty and there are hardly any residents. Yes, the frontage is pretty and the main pool looks nice, but how long will it last' The property looks deserted and the whole back of the complex is empty. I'm scared to walk my dog because the lighting is so bad. I'm glad there is an officer here because they really need one! I've heard so many stories about this place that it seems they did a quick fix instead of taking the time they should have- cheap fix. I wish I rented somewhere else- it's not worth it here! I would recommend looking elsewhere, it's worth spending a little more to get a better value. The management is working on it, but it's going to take a long time. You get what you pay for I guess :(

I don't know what you are afraid of. There have been no problems lately to my knowledge. Unlike some apartment complexes that are packed like sardines, this one is quiet and peaceful. I'm glad it isn't completely full. The "quick fix" as you called it included power washing buildings, completely painting every building and door, replacing iron balconies that needed it, re-striping the parking lots, replacing equipment in the Fitness Center and landscaping. I don't know what else you want! This is a very nice complex; I have a beautiful apartment and the management is great! I have lived here since 2002 and while there have been problems in the past, it has completely turned around. It's a great place to live!

the reason that the complex is nearly empty is because when there was the management overhall last winter they weeded out all the tennants that did not fit up Greystar's qualifications. It seems that per your review, there is nothing actually wrong with the complex other than the fact that they gave you a good deal and it is a nicely groomed quiet community... sounds terrible!

They cut out my response (thepinkpanther)above^ and there was no need for it. End thought this place is getting just as bad as Seatree Apartments and then I would not even bury my animals on the grounds of either complex.STAY CLEAR/ move to Kemah / League city area and rest assured you will be happier and have a lot less tension>OH! they changed the name to Vista ???something , they forhot totell anyone about it or if the owners are even the same.Stay Away is my best advise my friend.
