this apt complex was great when we moved in and managed very well (the reason we chose it). monica, the former manager left and now it's run by an old lady that won't take any responcibility for herself or her subordinates. not only do they not return calls about maintenance requests, but they totally ignore noise complaints. the main issue is the manager. she tells residents different info on the same subjects, not easy to deal with, and doesn't care about her staff or residents. parking is horrible! every night we have to either fight for a space or park on the curb. this went down hill when monica left as well. the neighbors are getting worse and worse. this too has changed since monica left. before, i would have recommended this place to friends. now i won't.

I completely agree. I have been having issues with them for a year and a half. I just moved out and am still having issues with the manager trying to charge me more money with no reason behind it. Parking is horrible!! I saw possible new tenents one day at the office while I was trying to get my gate remote fixed AGAIN and I almost told them not to waste thier time!

I am a current resident and completely agree. Unfortunately, I have a few more months on my lease. I would not recommend this complex to any one not even my worst enemy!

This is true! It's been 2 years since the last com ment about this complex and there's still NO resolution to the parking. Sometimes we have to park on the outside of the gate or 2-3 blocks away from our apt for a spot. (And we have a baby in a carrier!) So, it's totally, unreasonable!

~~I totally think that the parking issue is not always a promise to have one in front of your apartment. There is options reserve a carport or garage. This community was purchased so, we have to deal with it. Well, it will be wonderful if, GREAT Residents would help by working with one another to keep a nice and establish community.

The comment made on 6/22/09 sounds like it came from the manager. I've lived at Madison for 3 years and it has definitely gone from o.k. to pethitic. The parking is truely the worst I've ever experienced. You can hear every single noise your neighbors make (the beds squeaking at night is truely annoying). But the worst part is I don't even feel safe there anymore. The tenants use to be, for the most part, nice respectable citizens, but not anymore. There are still some very nice people and families there but if it keeps following the trend that its on, it wont stay that way for much longer. And dont be fooled by the "gated community"... Everytime I go in or out of the gate, there is some trashy car trying to speed through behind you when you go in or dodge you as you are coming out to go in the exit. There have been several times when I thought they were going to hit me trying to get in the gate. You can trust this review. I have nothing against the apartment complex or the management. I think they are decent and fair people. The rent is probably a little high for what you get and if you have a family, wife, little kids or if you are concerned about your personal safety, you might want to think twice before moving here.
