Half the apartments in my stairwell have been burglarized. Mine just last Thursday.

They kicked in the door in the middle of the afternoon and took what they wanted. No body saw anything.

Come to find out, my two downstairs neighbors had also had their apartments ransacked within the last year.

When maintenance came to fix the door, they admitted they knew the doors provided no security. They went ahead and installed upgraded hardware to make it "a little more difficult next time". Next time! I don't think so.

I gave my notice two weeks ago. Seemed a little suspicious to me that I live in a place for almost 3 years, and two weeks after I give my notice, BLAM! But who knows, stranger things have happened.

On the way to work this morning, I saw a Constable car rushing through the gate. I wonder, another robbery' The apartments are only a couple of blocks from the Stafford Police Department, but they will refuse to dispatch a car. My officer came from Hwy 6 and I-10. Took him 2 1/2 hours to arrive.

Stay away.
