My husband and I had a rocky start when we first moved in. I was very disappointed with the condition of our unit. These apartments are about 10 years old or so, but they have not made any improvements or upgrades, so things look..."shotty" or "ragged". We did decide to stay and make it work because it would have been too much trouble to move again at that time.

The only complaints I have are these: overpriced rent, old appliances, poor upkeep with paint, fixtures, etc., bad parking, staff.

The appliances and counters just need to be upgraded. It would change the entire look of the apartments, and then it would make sense for them to charge the the expensive rent that they currently do. There are many problems they really can't do anything about because of the age of the apartments; i.e., water damage and such.

The parking isn't so bad if you live in the back of the site. There are more uncovered spots back there. If you have a job, or are out after 5pm, forget about parking near your building unless you have leased a covered spot. I guess it doesn't bother me that much because I don't mind walking. I welcome the exercise. But, if you don't like walking, you will grow irritated very quickly.

Most of the staff is nice and friendly, but there is one person in particular that has a bad attitude when ever she answers the phone or you come into the office. I won't mention her name because you will be able to quickly tell the difference between her and the other associates. Those things don't offend me too easily because she wouldn't know me well enough to just not like me. However, if you want your staff to be top-notch, that could be a problem for you.

Overall, it's not the worst place in the world to live. Once you decorate, you can really learn to love your space. (and cover up the imperfections) If you have a limited budjet, however, you should keep looking before deciding on these. The rent is much more than it should be given what they give you. (We're only here because we have a discounted rate.)
