You have to follow up with the office, in writing. After more than 2 request in writing you should go in and see Michael. He is the manager and usually gets maintenance on the walkie immediately in cases like this (I've had one)I do understand your frustration. Complaining on a website after 1 month anonomously and bringing down the ratings is a very childish way to handle the problem. You can't be helped if you don't help yourself? I've lived here for 3 years and this is the worse maintenance has ever been. On top of that Connie in the office acts as if she is too busy to even speak on the phone about ANYTHING, but I always see her flying out the door at 5:45???
On the issue of the guy above you (speaking from someone who has kids) your in an apartment. If you don't like to hear anyone above you, move to the third floor or buy a house. My sister is property manager of an apartment complex and she said legally no one can tell you that you can't "live" because your walking bothers them. Unless you are seriously disturbing the peace of the building you are free to "walk" around your apartment. I spent the first 2 weeks on the third floor yelling at my 3 year old to watch his step every second, but he is a kid and should be allowed to play in his home where I pay full price like everyone else. If the person below me doesn't like it..it's is a great market for buyers in Real Estate right now ;-)

Your lecturing of this person is uncalled for. People like me want to know these things, and I think even one request gone unanswered is too many. People shouldn't have to ask multiple times for things to get fixed. I expect people to do their jobs correctly. As far as the walking thing, I agree with you. Although I'm sure it's nerve racking, you can't ask a tenant not to walk around for the sake of another tenant. I mean, come on.
