This is a place to stay clear off!! Living among these disgusting people would be one thing, but having to smell them and their foods laced with curry became too much to bear. I have never met people that are as rude as these. When you come home from work and tired you must play a game to get into the complex. SInce they won't pay for a remote they charge into the entrance pulling in just ahead of you waiting for you to use your gate card or remote, Since their arms are either to short or maybe because they are just plain lazy they will exit out then come back around waiting to see if you would oblige them and open the gates. I found this very amusing, I would either set there or wait until they got out of their car to use their card and, just before they would swipe it I would use my remote and go around them. Wait it gets better. The parents would launch their kids on bicycles knowing that they could barely keep the bike upright, just as you would be driving by. If you managed to miss one of the little fellas then there are still treats in store. They literaly cannot throw their garbage in a dumpster, they lay it at the bottom all around it, once again those teeny tiny arms just couldn't get the garbage up and into the dumpster or maybe they were just setting a meal for their relation that were reincarnated and came back as a rat. I spotted those scurring past the apt doors when they set the garbage just outside of their apt.

If this isn't enough wait till about 11:30pm, they seem to come alive and either clean, run around like elephants or make enough noise to make one think that they might be having wild sex.

If you have a car port you must fight to park in it. If someone parks in your carport, makes too much noise the useless staff tells you to call the police or the wrecker. They pass off their responsibilities to the tennants. One final noteworthy piece of information, Don't plan on gettin any portion of your deposits back. Do to the damage that the above mentioned residents cause they will nickle and dime you to death to cover their losses. For your own sake check around before you make the mistake of your life.

I have never saw any place that needs to get into your apartment all the time, especially when you are gone.They won't schedule a visit or maintenance when you can be there. Also staff if changed quite frequently, probably due to all the under handed dealings taking place

"Gahandi"? You're very discriminatory to use that...especially when you spell Gandhi wrong. Sure, "brown people" (i.e. ------- and Pakistanis) have a strong smell about them, due to heavy usage of spices in curries, and very few people have a distaste for that smell, but it doesn't mean you should keep future renters away with smell? Curry's a whole lot better than smelling a city dump or a huge pile of feces.

The message of the poster is lost in his racist comments. All of things he/she has said do happen. If it had been worded differently, the message would have had more of an impact. He/she sounds very frustrated at the bad behavior of other residents. I think the other residents should try to get along and respect the custumes and courtesies of this country. Or please leave, we don't want you here.

Actually, I found this rating very helpful - despite the racism. I would STRONGLY disagree with the first response that "very few people have a distaste for that smell". What a load of BS. I am a student in an MIS program and the whole graduate class is loaded with foreigners. All of which REEK of curry. This is NOT a pleasant smell to ANYONE that does not eat this food on a daily basis - which I would guess to be greater than 80% of the world. Where I am living now was based on me choosing not to live at a complex that had a majority of foreigners. The smell was my utmost concern, and is for MANY MANY people - especially in Sugar Land (Asian/Indian capital of the US (which also leads to some interesting driving experiences))

Seriously, I just came across this post by accident and am outraged by the lack of respect, obscenity, and uneducated opinion here formed over a bad experience with a few ------- at that complex. It seems this reviewer has formed a negative complex strong enough to hate the group by referring to them as a form of degenerates and then criticizing and stereotyping physical attributes such as arms. If you were before me you'd know there are know short arms here. As far as your experience goes well I can't say its pleasant ever to be placed in uncomfortable situations but you could have always complained, spoke to your neighbors, or moved on out without having to insult a person or group of people online. This only displays your ignorance, disrespect, lack of cultural apprecation and diversity. It's -------s and pricks like you in this world that makes the life in the US an utter shame when spoken on a global front. It's a sad day in life when we got back wood racists asswipes crying about everything in the world they don't know much about and out of fear they backlash. Maybe you weren't hugged enough, maybe your mom dropped you, or maybe your father neglected you...whatever your reason for the hatred just beware before you talk like that in front of an Indian who is smarter than you, has longer arms, and isn't afraid to lay it to you. 1 out of every 8 American is of Indian descent, much of the world's contribution comes from India, and India is border the 2nd highest populated country.... imagine if they put guns in their hands and had to eliminate punks like you... think you stand a chance? Think that this review you wrote is the only problem you'd have to worry about? Get educated, be respectful, and hold your tongue otherwise it could be cut.

Anonymous, Thank you for the warning. What a shame the Gables caters to such no class, inconsiderate, rude, selfish foreigners...ruining a nice place to live in a pretty decent neighborhood. Thye trash out their own sorry hole of a country and then come here to do the same. I guess you just can't take the Thirld World Slob out of these losers. You can be sure that lots of Americans will stay away from the Gables, not only because of trash foreigners, but also because of the care-less management which seems to do nothing about the loud/obnoxious tenants or the other problems there. It's really a shame so many nice apartment complexes are ruined by weak management putting up with loser tenants -- regardless of their race -- who should be evicted and sent packing to the Projects, where they belong with the other losers.

I don't know about all of the residents there, I just know that there are way too many burglaries in such a nice complex and if the staff is as bad as some of you say then it is not the place for me. Why can't there just be a decent place to live if you don't own a home? I will not allow ANY BURGLAR in my apt or something will happen.
