Just moved in...

Well I just moved in to the Landmark and my experience has been positive thus far. Unfortunately when my lease expires I will be moving. Not because of the apartments, but because I am so far away from where I work. I really hate to leave because I really like it here. The office staff is wonderful! They have been so nice and extremely helpful. However the manager that was here when I first moved in was transferred to the sister property in Barker Cypress.
The only complaint I have (aside from the distance which is not the fault of the complex) is that the folks that live above me sound as if they weigh a 1,000lbs!! I would suggest living on the top floor if it all possible. To alleviate this problem I bought this little machine that emits "white noise" this helps muffle the noise a little.
The construction is not the greatest, but these apartments seem fairly new so I suspect they will be ok for a little while. I had one maintenance issue and it was handled immediately. The maintenance guys are really friendly and professional. I feel safe and I love the Sugar Land area. I also wish they would consider landscaping the area a bit more but that's just me. I must caution you however, the traffic on 90 is horrible in the morning and between the hours of 4-6PM so just make sure you leave in enough time if you are traveling towards Houston! I'll be back with updates later!
