Pros and Cons

It's a really nice community. To be so close to everything in Sugar Land, it really is a quiet neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a problem with water leaking in from the apartment above me (never found out why) and when I called the answering service took my message. Unfortunately, they didn't leave the message with the maintenance staff,so the water leaked all day until I got home. I went to the office furious, and Millicent was very apologetic even though it wasn't her fault and she had someone com out immediately. Any time I've had an issue, they send someone out right away.

However, that leads me to one of my complaints. We have had a big problem with our AC ever since we moved in. Maintenance has come out many times to look at it and change the filter, but the problem was never fixed. I've lived here a yer now and my AC still does not work half the time. I have to leave it off for an entire day to get it to work one day. Not fun in the summer! That's the main reason why I'm moving when the lease expires. I've heard other complaints about the AC, so I doubt it'll be getting fixed anytime soon.

Other issues I've had... There is not enough parking. The lighting outside is horrible! I can hear my upstair neighbors very well when I'm in the bathroom - so I'm assuming they could hear me too. A little awkward.

Also, since they don't have a fitness center, they have a "deal" with a local gym (Power House). Even with the deal, you still have to pay $35 a month per person, so it's cheaper just to go to 24 Hour Fitness right around the corner.

For the price, there aren't many amenities. No fitness center, no business center, nothing like that. There is one pool, which is ok.

But like I said, the apartments look great. Due to renovations, they each look a little different. You won't know what yours looks like until you move in. I called many times before I moved in to see if I could look at my apartment. Even though it was vacant for a month, I was never able to. I have an apartment with a pool view (costs extra). The view is absolutely gorgeous, but mosquitos are horrible!
