This place has gone to the dogs. Lots of maintenance issues, never get resolved, property is falling apart. Brick wall in front is falling down and Manager doesnt even know it. She would know it if she ever got off of her "Throne" to walk the property! Trash and Garbage all over constantly. They need to address all the vermin that roam around the dumpsters at night time forging for food, leaving a trail behind of plastic bags, garbage, ugh!!! Can't take garbage out at night for fear of being attacked by large racoons, opossum, snakes etc. Buildings have accumulated green mold/moss, making it look like something you would expect to see in the fifth ward downtown!! Used to be a nice looking property, but since new managemnt last year, has gone downhill fast!

No one likes the manager, and I realize she is not supposed to be a friend, but she treats us like we are vermin and beneathe her. When asked a direct question about a repair she give a snotty answer like we are not supposed to ask for repairs.

I rate this place a .025 on a scale of 1-10! Upper management needs to take a good look at who they hire to manage these places, this manager is running off a lot of residents, long time residents, good paying, never late with the rent residents,, pity, a real pity... Unfortunately some of us are stuck here and now they raise the rents' For what'

I second everything that was just stated. This place is disgusting and a real disgrace to the Sugar Land area, which is nationally ranked one of the best places to live. They must have bypassed Parkside in that poll, I really hope that was the case. I am so miserable coming home to this place....it has such a project feel. I am counting down the days until my lease expires....they can't come fast enough. Management sticks and parking is a real joke, just ask one of the managers...SHARON, who parks in the handicap space on a regular basis. I guess that must be one of the perks to management. I would advise anyone who is thinking about this property to seriously think twice or you too will find yourself striking days on the calendar until your lease exspires.

Ms. ARTP (but I know who you are), The only person who gets hurt by these reviews is the leasing agent because this site is seen by prospective residents not current. I know I have never done you wrong but if that's not how you feel I would have hoped that you would have directly spoken to me about your issues; I'm always a listening ear. I understand that you took a pretty high rental increase because the price you were given so many years ago is just not the same with current market trends (which all renewals got). You have a beautiful first floor apartment at 903 sq ft and paying less than a $1 per sq ft. which is still a fair price in Sugar Land. Once again, you have never shown hostility towards the staff until your renewal and that is regrettable. I hope that in the future you realize that actions out of anger only hurt the ones not deserving of it. Sincerely, Leasing Consultant

In response to Leasing consultant 04-25-08: And I know who you are too! Since you are not there anymore, you need not be concerned. I only hope in your next job you are not so plastic!!! You cannot deny what is visually there! And your answers and flippant replies were unwarranted. You always wanted to be the one talking instead of hearing a sentence all the way through without interrupting and assuming what I was saying at the time, you cannot second guess what a person is going to say and interrupt them boldy to tell them what you think is the answer they are looking for!!! Although lately it has been picking up, the landscaping impoved the looks, but still does not keep the "ratty" occupants from dumping their fast food, empty glass bottles, plates, cups, pop cans and the like all over the sidewalks, entrance ways and stairs! Some of those people dont even know how to use a dumpster! Its: Walk to dumpster, throw trash INSIDE THE DUMPSTER PEOPLE!! But no, lazy people walk within 10 feet or so and sling it in the general direction of the dumpster, landing beside it, not in it. That will probably never change, I guess people just dont respect where they live, a real pity. I have to say Sharon is very attentive(new manager) she seems to get things done and is very organized. Too bad I cannot say much about her helpers in the office, because they go through them like water, most cannot communicate or think on their feet to give you an answer not just a pacifiying statement like, well they are all that way or some such nonesense. The maintenance men are great! Always friendly and very respectful and always smiling (Adrian) :-) I see the falling down bricks have been fixed, thank you very much. I was beginning to be ashamed to bring a guest to my place for a visit the way the outside was drearily looking! The only thing I can see needs attended to is the front drive way, the holes are getting bigger and bigger. And Sharon, I have never seen you park in the handicap, but then I dont even know what kind of car you drive LOL.. Sharon is probably the best manager yet, bar none, keep up the good work Sharon, but you really need a customer oriented assistant! ME
