I am currently a resident at Apple Creek and apartment managers knew for severla weeks this summer that I would be out of my apartment until it was time for me to go back to work. So on the anniversary of my lease agreement they leave renewal info on my door. Mind you I was still away. They had my phone number and email address and saw me only a couple weeks prior when I drove up to check on my apt. So I turned in the renewal application and paid the rent and waste and on 9/4/09 they put a notice on my door that I did not have a lease and I owe them $100 within 24hours. #1 its Labor Day weekend and I did not even come back to this dump after work I drove the 3 1/2 to my parents house and #2 who in the hell with todays economy can just drop $100 at a moments notice' I surely can't, I'm a state employee!

So far in the one year I have lived at Apple Creek, 4 cars had their windows broken (including mine), 1 car had its tire slashed and another was rammed into and then broken into, and just last month several cars were burglarized. And one of the things I was told before signing a lease last year was that the copmplex was safe and that a police officer patroled it for free. I have yet to see a police car just casually patroling and with my job I am in and out at all hours of the day and night.

Now my apartment is a box and trust me the walls are so then I can hear my neighbors beside me sneeze and I can tell you exactly what room the tenats above me are walking too. Super noisy.
