Don't touch the walls!

My boyfriend and I have lived in these apartment since April of 2004. When we first arrived from out of state one of the ladies handed us a key and told us to let her know if we liked it. We thought it was beautiful and couldn't wait to move in. While signing the lease I felt that I would have been better qualified to explain it. While moving in we noticed how cheap they were- We have cracked door frames, hollow spots in our carpet, glue still on the cabinets, large "puttied" holes in the walls, cracks in the shower, just to name a few things and now Spiders the size of half dollars. My boyfriend and I have said that after 1 year is up we will not be re-signing the lease and have even considered paying to get out of it. When I say DONT touch the walls I mean it. Your hand print will be there when you are done. The flat sheet rock scrapes off under your nail and dents very easily. (Brooms, vaccuume, something droped, etc.) Granted they are spacious and look good in the begining but they do not with stand more then a month of being taken well care of before the apartments looks very lived in. The ceilings are all too thin. You can hear things going on upstairs that dont need to be heard- including the restroom areas. It's honestly annoying. The plumbing is another thing that adds to the list. There is absolutely no water pressure in the kitchen and the toilets make loud gurgling noises after being flushed. Parking was not well planned either... Surprise! Surprise! Unless you choose to pay for covered parking you may be walking a block to your apartment. Choose wisely when looking to move- this is a good place for 3 maybe 6 months.
