Managment wants your TV, Radio, COMPUTER..RUN!!!!

I was late 2 days on rent. They took my new 52" flat screen, new Hewlett Packard Flat screen PC (which is illegal to take tool of trade in the state of TX as I work from home), my 3 yr. old daughter TV, & DVD player, radio, VCR, another DVD player, MY VACUUM, etc.
In the state of TX, they must give your notice of lockout 5 days prior to lockout. They locked me out & evicted me the next day making it convenient for them to keep my things. Which the employees of the apt. do get to keep your belongings!

I would have filed a lawsuit against them, thats what I'm doing!!

I would like to know what happened to your case. Most apts give 3 days to pay rent without penalty. For 5 days (or 2 days, whichever was your case), the most you should have received was penalty. Is there more to this or or these people really that bad?
I looked at these apartments many, many years ago and the manager and front office girl were total biches but that's been a while.
Let's hope they no longer work there.
